Meet Al, and his delicious sandwiches

Continuing on the food-theme, are  you around Mission Hill this afternoon and hungry? Head over to 1508 Tremont St. for a delicious sandwich at Wan Convenience Store and Deli. It might look like an average convenience store from the outside, but just head inside and meet Al Niles, the owner. He’s the friendliest man you’ll meet, and he makes all the subs with love. He is known for his pastrami sandwiches, but anything you choose off the menu will leave your tummy satisfied.

Even if you don’t live on Mission Hill just hop on the T. The nearest T stops are Roxbury Crossing on the Orange Line or Longwood Medical Area on the Green Line.

Check out this video I put together on Al, his sandwiches, and the people who eat them.

Al makes the best sandwiches of all time. Totally worth the 45-minute wait time too.
